Hijab Tube Undercaps
What’s the difference between your tube caps?
It’s only a matter of preference. Some ladies prefer this fabric over that; the hold, the feel, and how it gathers the hair.
The Turlu fabric is 94% Viscose + 6% Lycra. These caps are Made in Turkey. The fabric is soft like cotton and has some spandex just enough to feel comfortable. It usually doesn’t lose its shape with stretching. It’s breathable and it’s durable when compared with the other fabrics. It’s preferred by many for the comfort and the polished look underneath their hijabs. We suggest you renew these caps every 4-5 months depending on how often you use them.
The Poly-Cotton caps are the original type. These are Made in Jordan. The fabric feel is soft like cotton, and although it has some spandex, it does not stretch as much. Many ladies favor this fabric for the way it holds the hair and the hijab underneath. The downside of this fabric is that it pills faster than the other fabrics. We suggest you renew these caps every 2-3 months depending on how often you use them.
The Buttery Rayon caps. These are also Made in Jordan. These are quite popular and favored by many for the buttery feel and also for not pilling as the other fabrics. This new fabric is not as slippery as the regular buttery caps. The colors are more vibrant, and these caps look good if you’re looking for a more polished look. We suggest you renew them every 3-4 months depending on how often you use them.
The Side-seams caps. These are made in Jordan as well. The design is different in that it allows you to use your caps on both sides since the seams are on the sides. The fabric feels more like Jersey cotton and so it's favored by many for its comfort, but you would expect some stretchiness over time. We suggest you renew these caps every 3-4 months depending on how often you use them.
